Britain's leader will push allies to provide Ukrainian forces with further long-range missiles to strike Moscow's positions during a meeting in London on Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome Ukrainian President the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", including more than 20 of supporting nations who have committed to provide Ukraine security guarantees once hostilities pause is arranged.

Ukraine's president has been urging for an extended period for further long-range weapons from the West, a step that the Russian government has cautions would intensify the hostilities.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from the EU capital, where he conferred with EU leaders on the previous day pursuing economic assistance.

"The only person involved in the ongoing war who does not want to end the fighting is the Russian leader," the Prime Minister stated.

Sir Keir will encourage delegates to ramp up the provision of extended-range systems following a productive strike on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided missile systems.
