Kansas City Chiefs State They Are Aware of Alleged Abuse Allegations Connected to Player the Athlete

The NFL franchise released a comment on Wednesday evening stating they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations made public in social media posts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and had been in communication with the NFL.

The team omitted the name of Rice by name in their statement and stated they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete directly, shared a set of images on social media that appeared to show signs of physical abuse.
