After much anticipation we can start: initial five minutes of Stranger Things' final season revealed.
The concluding installment of the platform's supernatural phenomenon the show is poised to be one of the biggest shows of 2024. The first part debuts on 27 November, but a clip of the spine-tingling initial moments has been released online.
The Crawl: A Return to the 1980s
The segment, named the opening chapter, transports viewers to the origins of the show in the year 1983, following the disappearance of Will Byers.
"Should I stay or should I go?" Will sings while attempting to remain composed in the Upside Down.
The situation rapidly turns horrifying as a monstrous creature appears and drags the boy to the lair of the antagonist. "After all this time, it's time to commence," he says to Will simultaneously propelling a plant-like appendage into his mouth. "You and I, we will accomplish incredibly wondrous things as one."
Air Dates and Big Screen Events
The concluding half of the final series will be broadcast on December 26, while the last chapter out on New Year's Day – and will also have shown in certain theaters.

The summary reads: "The autumn of that year. Hawkins is damaged by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes join forces by a single goal: locate and eliminate the foe. But he has vanished – his location and intentions unknown. Complicating the quest, officials has put the community under strict lockdown and intensified the search for the heroine, forcing her back into hiding. As the commemoration of the boy's vanishing approaches, comes an intense, familiar dread. The final battle is approaching – and with it, an evil more powerful and more lethal than anything they have battled in the past. To conclude this horror, it will take each person – the complete team – united, for the final time."
Creator Comments
The unexpected preview was posted online following the show's Los Angeles premiere a few days ago, featuring cast members like the lead actress and another key actor.
"The scale of it is larger … There is more excitement and increased visual effects, yet it is likewise easily the most poignant series because it concludes of the story for all of these characters," the production's executive producer, noted of the last chapters.
His brother and co-creator, added: "Releasing it to the public is anxiety-inducing, yet we feel equipped to present it at last."
